Welcome to the John Roan School which has served the community of Greenwich for over 300 years. The school values all of its members and has a deep commitment to the most important people in the education process - our students.

We are strongly focused on delivering a first class education that provides challenging, high quality learning opportunities to support students in developing their personality, talents and abilities. The triangular partnership of students, parents and school working together is at the heart of the John Roan approach to ensuring all students achieve their best. Students are expected to make study a priority, develop a good work ethic and work in harmony with their peers and teaching staff. In addition to the work carried out in the classroom we offer an extensive enrichment programme that ensures our students are able to become active citizens in the global community.
